RETIRED MEMBERS
Chief Sandfoss was hired by the Central Campbell County Fire District on July 1, 2000. He started his fire service career at the age of 17 with the Highland Heights Volunteer Fire Department. At the age of 18 he joined the military for two years. He served in the Vietnam War with the Second Battalion, 506th Infantry, 101st Airborne Division. In 1972, he started as a full-time firefighter with the Fort Thomas Fire Department and remained there until his retirement in May, 2000. Chief Sandfoss retired from Central Campbell Fire District on October 31, 2014 with more than 43 years in the fire service.

Chief Dishman became a member of the Cold Spring-Crestview Volunteer Fire Department in April of 1984 at the age of 17. Ray was hired by the Cold Spring-Crestview Fire Department in May 1990 as the first paid firefighter. Ray rose through the ranks and was promoted to Assistant Chief in April 2004 of the Central Campbell Fire Department, which had been created from the merger of the Highland Heights Fire Department and the Cold Spring-Crestview Fire Department. Chief Dishman retired in November 2014 with a total of 30 years in the fire service.

Mary Clair started her career as a volunteer in 1982 at Cold Spring/ Crestview FD. In February of 1991 she was hired on as a Full-time employee at Cold Spring/ Crestview FD. In December of 1996, Mary was promoted to the position of Lieutenant. When Cold Spring/Crestview FD and Highland Heights FD merged in 2000, Mary maintained her rank and position as a career member. After, 22 years of service, Mary retired in 2013.
